How Much You Make is Directly Tied to This…
Did you know that the extent of VALUE you offer in your communication to prospects and clients is proportionate to how much you make?
Same is true in your JOB… However you make your money, your communication skills SIGNIFICANTLY impact what you earn. Improving your communication is the fastest way to better opportunities and increased pay.
Uh Oh…
Probably not what you wanted to hear.
I AM sorry if this bursts your bubble…
But you might be looking for answers about how to make more moolah’ (or obtain more success in your work or business) in all the wrong places.
And perhaps you’re thinking that a system or opportunity is the solution when what you’re actually lacking is good communication.
This isn’t a problem that’s going to go away until you step up and meet the challenge head on.
Who Is Teaching These Skills?
Regardless of how you generate leads…
Whether you build a marketing funnel to generate your own leads, work a referrals list, use Google Adwords (PPC), a blog, a website, SEO, social media or you cold call leads (hope not)–there comes a point where you must know how to effectively communicate or you limit yourself and depending on how little you know about effective communication, it could stop any level of real success from happening at all.
If you’re good at marketing but bad at communicating, you likely make 10% of what you could with the same number of leads.
Ouch.
Coaching skills are effective communication–they give you the ability to lead and influence people.
Confidently.
Competently.
Learning coaching skills doesn’t have to be difficult… it just has to be one of your main focuses.
Doing so is one of the few shortcuts available to success.
We’ll soon be allowing students to learn these skills with Barbara Silva’s Coaching Cognition.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to learn in months what took me years because I was on my own alone. With Barbara and Coaching Cognition you’ll be in a safe place to accelerate your learning.
There’s another aspect to this that can really make a difference for you…
Students of Coaching Cognition will have an opportunity to be featured ongoing at our Coaching platform–where we direct PAYING clients to you and manage all the details (we have a lot of people in need of qualified coaches and regardless of what you think now, YOU likely have the ability to be one).
For many this will be a full-time income as a coach.
Others will do it here and there to make ends meet, build confidence, while enjoying assisting others, and building their dream in their current business.
An entirely new world opens up to you when you become a coach with Coaching Cognition.
In case you missed it, hear from Curt Johnson about Coaching Cognition. He’s Ann Sieg’s upline and was her coach at one time.
Curt’s been a coach for years so his recommendation and participation in Coaching Cognition speaks volumes to what it can mean for you.
Here are two others I’d like you to hear from in case you missed them.
Eric Walker on Coaching Cognition
Claire Covington on Coaching Cognition
Here are more people you can hear from about their ‘take’ on Coaching Cognition… notice how authentic they are.
Notice how ’salesy’ they are NOT.
Click and scroll down the page to watch and listen.
Really watch them.
Read between the lines–these are real people who have quickly gone from where most people start… where you likely are now… to owning VALUABLE coaching skills.
You CAN do this.
We’ll have more details for you about how to join this exclusive 6 month class program. Watch closely. We’ll be open for only a short time in early October. The date isn’t set. I’ll share what I know as I know it!
If you missed my article on The Only Shortcut That Exists I highly recommend it. It talks about developing your essential list of skills to avoid the mistake I made in my first 14 years in business.

Mike reading your article, and watching the video emphasizes the importance of learning coaching skills. One can’t build a success Network Marketing business with out becoming a teacher, who teaches their down line to teach.

Building a successful business hinges on two things.
1) Building relationships
2) Effective communication skills
I’ve been in business a long time and there are many variables that one must master in order to keep the money coming in. Building relationships is paramount but being able to communicate with clients, associates and prospects is an absolute must.
As Mike puts it so eloquently is this post “Coaching skills are effective communication–they give you the ability to lead and influence people”.
Be sure to check out the Coaching Cognition program with Barbara Silva she’s a great teacher with many years of experience in this area, this is one skill that’s worth mastering.

So I just left a comment on your “Shortcut” article about how you made mistakes for 14 years! (I thought you had said only 5 to 10)
Good golly, I can only imagine what those years must have been!
It’s funny, I think a big reason for a lack of communication skills is that we weren’t taught them in school!
Shocking, huh.
What’s also funny is that I hear that over and over from successful people in books, seminars, and videos that these skillsets are essential:
1. People/Relationship Skills
2. Public Speaking
3. Who You Know
It’s amazing that all of these skill sets that they say were essential to their business are not taught in school!
What a weird word we live in.
And I’m currently in the Coaching Cognition program, and I have to say, it sure is very insightful and helpful.
Barbara really knows her stuff, and all the other students are very helpful and open-minded. =]
